South Western Communications (SWC) provides communication, physical security, and life safety solutions tailored for K-12 schools and higher education institutions.
Offerings include access control, video management and surveillance cameras, door monitoring, wireless duress and panic systems, and environmental, vape, and weapon detection systems. For schoolwide workflows, SWC integrates customized overhead paging, intercoms, and synchronized clock systems.
Through the neXus Safety & Security Platform, SWC also offers an interactive facility map that centralizes existing solutions into a single 3D view to support faster incident response.
- Competitive, pre-negotiated cooperative pricing without going through a traditional public bidding (RFP) process.
- Access to SWC's full portfolio of integrated safety and communication solutions.
- Systems custom-engineered for each school rather than sold from a fixed catalog.
- On-site safety and security assessment available before quoting.
Because SWC's systems are custom engineered for each school, districts should work directly with their SWC account executive to schedule a safety and security assessment and receive an accurate quote reflecting AEPA pricing.
- Contact your Kentucky AEPA SWC representative (see contacts below), or submit a consultation request at swc.net/request-a-consultation.
- SWC provides a custom, itemized project estimate using pre-negotiated AEPA cooperative contract pricing.
